Who We Are

Limestone Designs of Texas began in 1996, in Austin, Texas,  and was orginally named Texas Limestone Designs.  We are a minority-owned company, and do all the handcrafting of the product ourselves.  The product is not manufactured or prefabricated.  It is natural limestone right out of Texas' earth... from the Mesozoic Era--over 100 million years old!

The business started out of a love for anything Texas, and the beauty which possesses even a rock.  To be able to take a rock from our earth, and craft a piece of artwork which is useful, was very exciting.  Knowing most everyone in the world loves Texas,  it stood to reason we were standing on a good thing!  Seeing a completed product for the first time; a beautiful and unique work of art that represented Texas, was to fall in love with it!

Our Business

The goal of our business is to help you make memories with not only a useful award/gift, but a beautiful piece of art, as well. 

Every office has a wooden plaque, or a crystal paper weight, but how unique is that?  What attachment will someone have to wood and crystal? 

But, give them a handcrafted gift made from Texas limestone, and there is a personable connection....it's an actual piece of the Lone Star State!  Definitely a conversation piece!
